Eye Check-up

The normal eye is like a ball with three layers. The cornea is the clear glass-like structure in front of the eye that is circular; it appears black because of the dark curtain called iris behind it.

The innermost lining of the ball is the retina or the film of the eye. The middle layer is called the uvea. The outermost layer is the sclera, the strong white wall of the eye.

The lens in front focuses all pictures onto the film or retina. This image is then carried from the retina to the brain by the optic nerve.

In this era of technology, changing environmental conditions, pollution, changing lifestyles a regular eye check-up is essential to detect any eye-related diseases and prevent progression.
