Drink seven to eight glasses of water or have fruit juices to replenish fluid losses through sweat.

Have seasonal fruits like mangoes and watermelons which are rich source of vitamins and iron.

Have lots of curd or buttermilk every day to avoid diarrhoea and dehydration.

Avoid going out when the sun is overhead if necessary cover your face and hands with cap and gloves.

Use a medicated sunscreen to protect your skin from heat stroke.
