Speaking on the occasion Shri Chandrababu Naidu said, this is one of the best hospitals in the country and will make Visakhapatnam a medical tourism destination by attracting foreign patients. People used to worry about our educated going abroad, the brain drain phenomenon, but see someone like Dr Prathap Reddy despite being successful abroad, came back and set up 60 hospitals in India, brought best healthcare within the reach of our people and now he brought the very best hospital in the country with superior technology to Visakhapatnam. He said Vizag is a happening city, it has sea, beautiful beaches, hills and above all nice and hard working people, therefore we are working towards making Vizag a Health, Educational, Financial, Tourism hub. We will have 28 hospitals here off which 15 have started work, by one year they will be functional. We will have VIMS shortly and Tata Cancer Hospital too. I request Dr Prathap Reddy to invest and set up more hospitals in Navya Andhra Pradesh. Though there are several problems haunting our state, we are working hard to overcome them, center should help us and we also need to work hard to make our state developed and people prosperous, he said.

Dr Prathap C.
