The department of Orthopaedics is one of the first to start providing services here. Our Orthopaedic team has vast experience in treating Poly trauma and complex fractures. We also have the largest experience in managing complicated fractures such as pelvic and acetabular fractures.
Our Orthopeadic department is one of the best joint replacement centers in Andhra Pradesh. Dr. M. Hari Sharma and his team at Apollo Hospital, Hyderguda are specially trained and have good experience in performing Total Joint replacement of Knee, Hip and Shoulder including Unicondylar Knee replacement and small incision joint replacement, backed by state-of-the-art Laminar flow operation theatre exclusively for Orthopaedic surgeries.
The laminar flow/Ultra clean ventilation in operation theatre reduces the number of infective organisms present in the air, which otherwise may lead to post-operative wound infection. This is of particular significance in joint replacement surgery, where post-operative infection results in poor patient outcomes and substantial costs, both to patients and health care providers.
