American Heart Association recognizes Apollo Hospitals for Emergency Cardio-Vascular Care and Training in India
American Heart Association has accorded recognition to Apollo Hospitals as an International Training Organization to provide Emergency Cardio-vascular Care to the people of India. Apollo Hospitals is the first organization in India to receive this prestigious recognition from the American Heart Association.
As part of this recognition, Apollo Hospitals is now authorised to use American Heart Association’s guidelines and protocols to provide Emergency Care and to set up training centers in India. These training centers will provide programs in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support and the successful candidates will be eligible for American Heart Association Certification.
American Heart Association is the prime American organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. American Heart Association sets the protocols for Emergency Cardio-vascular Care and Training. The protocols laid are efficient, effective and the best and are globally accepted. These protocols are implemented uniformly across USA and is mandatory for all those involved in Emergency Care to be trained and certified by American Heart Association.
This recognition will significantly improve the standards of emergency care in India and help in bringing about uniformity of care in institutes implementing these guidelines with trained personnel.
